With our digital scanners, we no longer need to get impression using trays filled with messy goop. We simply use a wand to scan your mouth, making it a simple and more comfortable process for you. In addition, capturing 3-D images gives us more detailed information about your mouth to plan for your restorations. Plus, we can use this same technology to plan for your Invisalign treatment and show you a digital preview of your future smile.
One of the biggest benefits you’ll find with digital X-rays is less exposure to radiation. With digital radiography, we capture clearer images that we can enlarge to make it easier to diagnose and detect oral health problems. Plus, there’s no extra time needed to process the results of your X-ray, because it’s all digital. Very nice dentist office here. They really do treat you like family. Holly, Leah, Natalie, and Dr Powell(and the rest of the staff!) all have great attitudes, do a GREAT JOB and are all very helpful with any questions. They’re there to help. My routine cleaning was a very positive experience. The office is very clean and organized and all of the staff are wonderful. Dr. Powell is very thorough and easy to talk to. Erica was my hygienist for my most recent visit and honestly she is the best hygienist I have ever had. She listened to everything I explained, made changes throughout my cleaning according to areas of sensitivity and gave me great suggestions for things to try at home. She also took the time to perform a very thorough cancer screening.

Not at all. In fact, one of the reasons we use this technology is because it saves our practice money and, as a result, saves you money. For example, digital X-rays are easier to process and less expensive because we don’t need the extra equipment to produce traditional X-ray information. However, if you are ever concerned about costs, we’d be happy to review that with you before beginning any treatment.
Yes, the dental technology we use in our practice is completely safe. In fact, much of it is far safer than traditional methods. For example, our diigtal imaging makes it easier for us to see inside your mouth and make a more thorough diagnosis for your oral care. We use also digital X-rays which expose you to less radiation.
